Irish hospitality at its best

James Joyce, named after the famous Irish writer, is an Irish pub located at the heart of the European neighbourhood in Brussels. James Joyce is the first Irish bar in Brussels since 1989, which marks our 30th anniversary this year. Owner Steve Ray has been running the bar for more than 10 years until now. Wearing our Irish heritage with pride, we welcome young and old to spend an excellent time in our Irish bar.

Irish beers

We offer a wide range of spirits, whiskey and Irish beers, such as Guinness, Murphy’s, Kilkenny, … But also soft drinks and coffees are available in our establishment. Have a look at our drinks menu and make your choice. Moreover, from Monday until Friday we have a happy hour from 4 until 7 PM. Come and join us.

Sports

With our 4 TV’s, one of which is large, we have you covered for all the major sporting events, whether it is football, darts or rugby. We are the unofficial Arsenal supporters club, but supporters from other clubs are also welcome to watch their favourite club such as Manchester United, Chelsea, Fiorentina, …
